The things that happen when you’re out the office for a day...

These photos were taken yesterday from our office balcony and show the devastation after a freight train running past the Custard Factory had derailed in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Thankfully no-one was injured, only the now flattened Citroën C1 took the brunt of the falling brick work. May it rest in piece peace.

The Frankfurt Christmas Market has descended on Birmingham for another year, which is great. It’s the largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria and has (rightly so) become a popular event in the city’s calendar...
